Aisling Bea
Aisling B a is born on 16 March 1984. She was born in Kildare Ireland. She has appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better than her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish writer, actress and stand-up comedian. Following appearances in bits in several Irish and British TV shows from 2009, Bea started her career as a stand-up comic in the year 2011. She began appearing often on sketch comedy and sitcoms in 2012. In 2012, after she won an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing often in various panel shows. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016-2017 and is an ongoing contestant on its spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The actress is the child of Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her sister, was also born. In 2012, she became the second woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny award. Bea was given to her to commemorate her father's passing. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born March 16, 1984 in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who killed himself at the age of three. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she turned thirteen. Bea chose to stage her name Bea to honor her late father. Bea also published an article for The Guardian on her family's suicide story. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were nurtured by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a an ex-professional jockey. The family was awed by horses, race meetings as well as the race industry. When she was a child, Bea was an instructor for the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early stage that she was not keen on the sport of racing as a career and instead enjoyed performing.
